The Vines
Our Sangiovese vines were grafted onto Viognier vines which are over 20 years old. The 2024 Sangiovese crop was very light which resulted in intense fruit flavours.
Winemaking
Winemakers: Chris Derrez
14% Alc/Vol
Short clean fermentation, plunged down during fermentation. Basket pressed and then put into seasonal oaks for malo and maturation. Blend with 5% Touriga and bottled in March 2025.
Tasting Notes
A well-structured, medium bodied wine with intense flavours of dried red fruit, dried cherry and plum. Grippy tannins.
