2021 Jack Shiraz
$32.00 incl GST
Medium bodied. Plum and mulberry fruit, a touch of dried eucalyptus and baked gingerbread-like oak aromas. Flavours of bright, juicy red fruits, pepper and a sweet, toasted vanillin oak profile. Fine, chalky tannins and a lingering savoury finish.
The Vines
The 25 year old Shiraz vines are located on the Eastern slopes of Ballinaclash at 510 m altitude. Planted into deep red topsoil over well drained granite soils. The Eastern slope and cool climate allows for a long and even ripening of grapes
Winemaking
Winemakers: Chris Derrez and Ben Pigram
