Description
The Vines
Both our Touriga and Tempranillo are grafted onto 25 year old Cabernet Sauvignon vines. The established roots are bedded into rich deep red top soil over volcanic granite. This vineyard is at approx. 550 m altitude. The grapes were hand harvested.
Winemaking
Winemakers: Chris Derrez and Ping Li
13.4% Alc/Vol
Fermented separately with light plunging. 50/50 blend after fermentation. Matured in seasoned French Puncheons.
Tasting Notes
Mulberry, blueberry and star anise. Savoury mid-back palate.
