After a successful weekend of pick your own with great a great crowd and beautiful weather, we can finally say that there is now an abundance of beautiful, ripe Ron cherries available for picking. Hooray!
It is a late season due to the cooler weather which has caused slower ripening. As a result, all the sweet, juicy later varieties are just starting to ripen. So now is the perfect time to grab your sun hats and picnic baskets and book your Pick Your Own Cherries online for a great day out. White cherries as well as apricots are also available for pick your own.Please note however that this year there is only a limited supply of apricots due to the damage caused by the wet spring weather.
Our Pick Your Own is currently open for bookings 7 days a week from 8am to 5pm until Sunday December 19th. If we still have cherries available, which is quite likely this year due to it being a late season, we will open more bookings after December 19th. Even if our Pick Your Own closes, our Farm Gate Shop and Cellar Door will remain open until close to Christmas so that you can stock up on all your Ballinaclash goodies for the Christmas celebrations.
