The big advantage of a late cherry season is that we will have plenty of beautiful, ripe cherries for Christmas!
Now is a great time to come and pick your own or drop into our shop to purchase pour pre-packed cherries.
We also have apricots available for pick your own and in our shop.
Ballinaclash really is your one stop Christmas shop. Not only can you get fresh cherries for your Christmas table, we also have award winning wines, jams, sauces, bottled cherries for your pavlova or trifle,
hampers, aprons, caps, local olive oil, honey and locally made tea.
There are still white cherries available as well as beautiful juicy, sweet red cherries.
Our sour cherries are still not quite ripe. Contact us after the Christmas break for updates on these.
Hopefully we will have some of our peaches and nectarines in our Farm Gate Shop before Christmas.
Although it’s still very cool here in the Hilltops Region, we are very grateful for the sunny days as it’s ideal cherry picking weather.
Now that school holidays have begun, grab the kids and head on out. Don’t forget to reward yourself after picking with one of our cherry ice creams!
Now is also the time to stock up on our cherry pies; grab some for Christmas and some for the freezer to enjoy in the cooler months.
If you can’t make it to Ballinaclash this busy Christmas week, do not despair as this cherry season is so late this year that we are going to reopen after Christmas
