This coming weekend we are looking forward to celebrating Young’s National Cherry Festival.

Although the cherries are still slow to ripen due to the cool weather, our pick your own is open for cherries for those with a booking.
The apricots are also late this year and probably won’t be ripe for another couple of weeks yet.
If you are planning on visiting us this cherry season for pick your own, we highly recommend booking after December 12th as this is when the cherries will be at their best.
We have bookings currently open up 7 days a week until December 23rd and it is highly likely we will open more bookings after Christmas as we are predicting we will still have some beautiful, late season cherries available . Keep an eye on our website for updates.
If you are visiting Young for the Cherry Festival this weekend but have missed out on a Pick Your Own booking, we would still love to see you at Ballinaclash & we will have our Farm Gate Shop packed with cherry jam, cherry sauce, cherry cordial, cherry pies, cherry ice cream, cherry wine, cherry reserve, wine tasting & of course pre-packed fresh cherries.
We are also offering our delicious home made pies from The Pastor’s Pleasure this weekend until sold out so why not pop out, grab a pie and a glass of wine & join in the festivities.
