Description
The Vines
Nebbiolo grapes require a long and slow ripening process. This is amplified by the cool climate in the Hilltops Region, which results in the development of rich and intense fruit flavours. These vines grow in volcanic granite soil that is infused with basalt and a rich red top soil blown in from Central Australia over hundreds of years. The vineyard is situated at an altitude of approximately 500 m above sea level, and the grapes are carefully hand harvested.
