Description
The Vines
The 25 year old shiraz vines are located on the Eastern slopes of Ballinaclash at 510m altitude. Planted into deep red topsoils over well drained grainte soil. The eastern slope and cool climate allows for a long and even ripening of grapes.

Tasting Notes
Medium bodied. With six months longer on oak, this second bottling of the 2021 shiraz, gives this wine increased length and tannins. Plum and mulberry fruit, subtle dried eucalypt and baked gingerbread-like aromas. Flavours of bright, juicy red fruits and pepper, combined with a further developed sweet, toasted vanillin oak profile as a result of extra 6 months in barrel. Fine, chalky tannins and a lingering savoury finish.
