We’ve had a few warm days recently to help ripen the cherries and the early varieties are starting to colour up. We’ve also managed to get under the odd shower which is always welcome. We are blessed to have a good bore from which to irrigate and consequently our trees are looking very healthy as are our vines.

It’s looking like we will be opening our Pick Your Own on Saturday 9 November but keep an eye on this Website, our Facebook & Instagram as we get closer to confirm this opening date.

As well as being busy getting ready for cherries, there is much happening in the vineyard as well, with the team hard at it tying up, shoot thinning and grafting, as well as fairly constant irrigation.

We had some very exciting news last week with the announcement at the NSW Wine Awards held at The International Convention Centre in Darling Harbour, Sydney that our 2018 Ned Touriga won the Chair of Judges’ Trophy. This is our first vintage of Ballinaclash Touriga and with limited supplies we suggest you head to our Cellar Door or Online Shop and grab yourself a bottle or two sooner rather than later if you don’t want to miss out!

We have had a few groups through our Cellar Door recently enjoying a Ballinaclash Premium Wine Tasting Experience. It’s a beautiful time of year to get out and about and we love being able to share our story, not to mention our beautiful wines, with our visitors.

There is just so much happening at Ballinaclash Cellar Door, Pick Your Own Orchard & Farm Gate Shop. See you there soon.

The Ballinaclash team have been busy.
