We’ve had a great start to the 2018 cherry season. The early season varieties are particularly tasty this year. The dry growing conditions seemed to have intensified their flavour.

Fruit size is good thanks to our irrigation system and the beautiful rain we had last week.

We are still picking Early Sweets & Empress and the Supremes are now also ripe. The Vistas are ripening beautifully and should be ready to pick this coming weekend, along with the Vegas, our very popular white cherry.

We’ve already had lots of visitors at the Pick Your Own and they have been delighted by our abundant crop of quality cherries.

Nearly everyone who visits walks out with a cherry ice cream, and most people can’t resist the smell of our homemade cherry pies, wafting out of the oven.

Did you know you can pre-order your cherry-pies so they are waiting for you when you get here? How good is that! Or, if you are the hands-on type, you can learn how to make your own in our popular cherry pie making class

A visit to Ballinaclash is guaranteed to delight every one of your senses.

Even though it’s cherry time, we are still very busy in the vineyard at this crucial growth period. The vines are flowering and there is bud burst in the new grafts

We would love to welcome you at Ballinaclash, we are open 7 days a week from 8am to 5pm.
