Please Note: Saturday 12th October Cellar Door open from 11am to 12noon only.

Thank you to all of our loyal, returning customers, as well as our many new customers, who visited Ballinaclash for the 2017 Cherry Season.

Starting early November and going through until just before Christmas, the 2017 season was a great success despite the challenging weather thrown to us over the Cherry Festival weekend!

We had an abundant crop, and even though we lost most of our Ron cherries, the early and later varieties were very pleasing .
Our Farmgate Shop saw a steady flow of visitors tasting wines, jams, sauces and more. The smell of freshly baked cherry pies was a constant, wafting in the background. Not many people escaped a visit without being tempted by a cherry or strawberry or peach ice-cream!.

After a short break, we are refreshed and ready to throw ourselves back into all that now needs to be done.
It is now time to harvest our stone fruit, including our sugar plums and then onto our wine grapes.

After that, we spend the rest of the year maintaining and improving our orchard and vineyard in an effort to grow the best possible fruit for you, our customers.
Although our Cellar Door & Farmgate Shop is now closed, we do open by appointment

Don’t forget that our wines and products are available from our Online Shop all year round.
The 2018 Cherry Season will start sometime in November and go through until close to Christmas 2018. It is impossible to give exact dates this far out as we are so dependent on the weather for ripening, so keep an eye on this website for updates or you can follow us on Facebook or Instagram to stay informed.
